About Us

The Northeast District of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) is comprised of thirty-one towns in the Northeast corner of the state. It is one of seven districts that make up CJSA. The purpose of the district is to facilitate effective administration of CJSA rules and policies at the local level as well as encouraging the development of soccer at all levels. For more information, see the Northeast District bylaws: Northeast District Bylaws. (142kb)

Among other things, the District administers inter-club recreation and competition (divisions 5, 4, and 3) soccer matches.

Tops Soccer

Tops soccer is a program for handicapped players of all ages. At this time, the Tolland Club is sponsoring a team. Other clubs that would like to form a Tops soccer team should contact Tolland Soccer.

Division 1, 2, and 3 Premier Soccer

The Northeast District sponsors the Northeast United Soccer Club (NEU). NEU is a premier-level club that participates in the state-run premier leagues and the Open Cup. NEU, in conjunction with the Northeast District, organizes and runs a developmental program for U10 and U11, and attempts to have a team at every age level for both boys and girls.
